#34 accepted enhancement

Command line

Reported by: lookmomnohands Owned by: aONe
Priority: minor Milestone: Future ideas

I have a couple of suggestions, some might be more hassle than others:

$ keka -u Compressedfile.7z.001

Could you include a keka or p7z command line utility?

Also, could the GUI be set up like Lion and other recent OS X releases which allow for functions to be queued or simulateously worked? I.e. If I drag one file and then another to the dock, I don't get a second window or even any result from the second query.

About the command line, the upcoming version can be used in the terminal, but the GUI is always visible. Don't know if you ask launch Keka with parameters or use it without GUI.

About the multitask, here I attach a screenshot of the upcoming version.

I think maybe a symbolic link to the Keka binary in /usr/bin can do the trick with the command line functionality. Just need to add an option to create the link, finish the arguments support and create some kind of windowless option.

Just a binary it's not possible yet.

Milestone: Future ideasKeka 1.1
Priority: majorminor
Version: 1.0

The multitask support is released under 1.0 version.
For the terminal, I think a symlink to p7zip and unrar will be the point.
